MARCH 15 GRAND RALLY
No War on Iraq! Stop war legislation!
(Hibiya Open Amphitheatre, Tokyo, March 15, 2003)

 Resolution

We never admit a war

In few days sooner, the United States of America is going to launch an attack on Iraq.

Wait a moment, please! The United Nations Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC) has asserted effectiveness of its inspection and requested for its continuation. Notwithstanding, why the U.S. dare break off a way to peaceful solution to start a war. Innocent Iraqi children should not be killed in an unlawful war.

We never admit such a barbarous act.

We also cannot contain our wrath in the face of such a shameful attitude of the Government of Japan supporting the U.S. warmongering.

We wish to make a severe protest against the President George W. Bush, and demand:

- Withdraw a war plan against Iraq.

We wish to make a severe protest against Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, and demand:

- Cease from supporting a war to follow the U.S.

We don’t keep silent. The people of Japan don’t keep silent.

Let’s join hand in hand with peoples of the world to prevent a war!

 NO WAR ON IRAQ!

Sound our voices for peace to the world!
